General Summary:
Background in test/validation with experience in software development
Design, develop and deploy test plans, debug test frameworks issues and design test automation software
Strong understanding of Multimedia video technologies
Experience in Video compression - codecs like AVC,HEVC.
Python programming expertise
Understanding of Android framework and Machine learning is a plus
Experience in Java ,C/C++ is a plus
Working closely with software and systems engineers(Global sites) , your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:
Analyze product requirements and customer use cases to derive a test development and test automation strategy
Develop test strategies for verification and commercial launch of the multimedia video algorithms including various video codecs and pre/post-processing
Design, develop and deploy test plans, test frameworks and test automation software
Collaborate with multimedia technology teams to leverage common test methods and frameworks

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems

Work Experiences:
2+ years Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
1+ years experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans, and tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Masters - Computer Science, Masters - Engineering, Masters - Information Systems

Work Experiences:
2+ years experience with Advanced Development Skills (e.g., Database Management Software, API's, Web Development Tools) and Test Frameworks. ,2+ years of experience with Qualcomm-Related technologies. ,4+ years Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
