Sr Manager testing in GDS delivery unit consists of set of programs within ITAS team, which comprises of various projects across industry sector’s and / or regions
Manage Data Testing engagements for a Various sectors (Government, Power and Utilities, Healthcare, Telecom, Insurance) which will include, Quality management, resource management, productivity, build efficiencies, time zone management and deliverables in a distributed delivery model
Responsible for daily operations of the Sectors (Insurance, Banking Capital Markets, Retail & Telecom) across Data Engagements
Should have Automation expertise along with Data Automation experience.
Should focus on Market facing and support onsite partners with RFP proposals, Client meetings etc
Manage client relationships
Leads the delivery of large, complex test plans to ensure product quality, being responsible for test quality, resource planning and resolution of issues that may impede the test effort. Drives continuous improvement. sharing best practices across projects, Budgeting, Planning and forecasting of resource requirement.
Advise clients on a variety of business process services that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization’s capabilities. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:
Business Strategy (Vision, Mission, Guiding Principles)
Fundamental understanding of client requirements with respect to testing in several of below areas:-
Sound knowledge on General Ledger/Downstream Systems & Datawarehouse ETL framework
Solid Experience on Enterprise Data Management/Reference Data Management
Good Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Platforms
Strong Experience working within an integrated and mutli cloud environment
Exceptional Knowledge on Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting Operations/Technology
Strong knowledge on Performance Management and Measurement (KPI’s, business driver-based metrics)
Exceptional knowledge in working with large scale multi-dimensional data engagements using ETL statistical methods.
Extensive Program management experience and in-depth knowledge of developing customer centric strategies to build complex architectural solutions
Should have strong stakeholder management experience across large scale transformations
Strong experience as a delivery lead managing multiple engagements.
Should have actively participated in managing change requests, define the scope of change delivery and schedule. Extensive experience in preparation of SOW’s and necessary amendments specific to engagement and customer centric
Good to have knowledge on deriving ETC’s and preparation of invoices. Should have strong experience in proactively assisting portfolio management across clients
Advice clients wherever required to provide testing across implementations of application and technology solutions. Participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management.
As a Sr Manager Testing, you will:
Prepare regular dashboards, reports for the management team Engagement Manager, Partners etc
Responsible for the design, development and support of test cases for functional and non-functional domains, solving the most complex escalated issues
Be responsible for the growth of the delivery unit – Planning for recruitments, tracking and monitoring the same
Supports in identifying product quality risks based on the high level solution architecture
As a Senior Manager you will:
Build a quality culture and Be part of Orals and client proposals for Data engagements for Various Sectors .
Develops relationships with engineering groups and other senior business stakeholders to evaluate, recommend and implement complex test cases for the largest products and / or services, ensuring business requirements are met
Mentor Project and Program Managers to be able to perform their roles per the need of the project / program
Leads the delivery of testing activities, plans and processes for large products or services, applying advanced technical capabilities to ensure alignment to functional / non-functional requirements for Data Engagements
Active Participation in the organization-wide people initiatives
Plan for career growth paths of the team members in the delivery unit and mentor the team members to achieve their goals and objective
Requirements (Qualifications)
We are looking for the candidates with the following:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)
Sound industry experience of 15 to 20 Yrs, with significant global exposure, eight (8) years of which should be in the specific business domain (Banking & Capital Markets / Insurance / Wealth & Asset Management, Retail & Telecom etc)

The successful candidate should possess strong knowledge of and experience in supervising and executing all phases of a project life cycle, based on proven project management and business management activities. It is essential that the successful candidate possess a deep knowledge of business within the given sector and have a good understanding of applications that support this industry.
Delivery experience leading and managing multiple project teams of 100+ people on a global delivery model. Financial responsibility for a $5+ million/year account.
Evidence of client success.
Demonstrated success in account growth.
Possess Good knowledge on using Various Databases
Advanced Analytics technologies Such as Hadoop,Kinesis, Kafka, Spark,Hive, Pyspark
Good Knowledge on Altryx and AWS is a plus.
Should have good understanding of using Various ETL tools
Exceptional Knowledge on Predictive analysis and Business Intelligence
Strong knowledge on Cloud Capabilities.
Previous Project experiences on large Scale data engagements across various domains
Demonstrated ability to build trust and manage high level, executive relationships.
Business Data mapping and conversion
Has participated and contributed in various capacities with sales opportunities and sales calls (ability to sell customer on value and services).
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise multiple teams of business and IT advisors through all phases of the project life cycle, including requirements definition, process and prose creation, business re-engineering, application mapping.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and business writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further designing, developing and integrating business operations with technology.
