Strong penetration testing experience is a must.
Conduct Kubernetes security reviews, design reviews, and compliance scanning
Conduct and support penetration tests to identify security issues and help remediate them.
Develop security tools and practices for Kubernetes and Cloud-native application/infrastructure security.
Collaborating with other teams to implement security controls and best practices in containerization and Kubernetes deployment.
Provide security recommendations on service design and application security.
Creating documentation and providing training on Kubernetes security concepts and best practices.
Develop documentation, and a knowledge base to be used by penetration testers to conduct reviews, and security assessments.
Research and maintain knowledge of changing landscape of Kubernetes, container security, latest threats, and attacker tools, techniques, and procedures.
Occasional travel to client locations might be required.
Desirable
Be willing and able to engage customers on broader security problems, including scoping bespoke programs of work.
About You
Essential:
7+ years of experience in information security
4+ years of client-facing consulting work experience performing penetration testing.
Deep expertise in containers, Kubernetes infrastructure, security controls and common security libraries
Experience implementing Kubernetes security and hardening.
Experience with Infrastructure as code (Vagrant, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, or similar)
Experience on cloud adoption strategies including design and implementation of security controls and compliance monitoring.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
Basics to intermediate development and scripting skills in at least one programming language
Knowledge of cloud services and cloud security controls
Experience with pen testing (plus)
Experience with code reviews (plus)
Experience in security training (plus)
