Responsibilities:
Hands-on Performance Test Management
Engages with testing and development teams across the bank.
Effectively manage multiple stakeholder demands and expectations while maintaining quality and delivery
Engages with vendors and architects to determine strategic direction in terms of application testability.
Evaluates and implements new technologies personally, in line with bank strategy.
Documents and publishes standards and procedures.
Keeps current with new practice and technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements
Works with security and compliance teams to ensure solutions conform to bank and industry standards.
Drives high quality engineering solutions for the bank business needs
Provides consultancy and advisory services to the business, systems development and QA for Non-Functional Requirement testing.
Identifies and recommends new technology or practices that will add value to the organization in terms of performance and cost
Undertakes continuous improvement for the practice and domain internally and within federated teams
Lead and mentor a small team of test managers and test engineers
Role responsibilities:
Focus on building and representing a Non-Functional Requirement test consultancy and specialist execution team.
Evaluating products, practices and services, owning the target tools, standards, processes and practices and portal.

General skills:
Established professional with 10 or more years working in the related testing life-cycles, execution and implementation.
Communicator with ability to lead and influence direction and strategy of testing organization.
Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver test projects from scratch.
Excellent problem analysis and resolution abilities.
Ability to write test strategy and execution plans essential.
Specific skills:
Established test manager with 8 or more years working at an enterprise level
Background in various disciplines is essential, such as functional and non-functional testing, planning, strategy, authoring, execution, with a significant period of time inside a testing team
The ability to articulate use cases, document requirements, and provide management summary information for proof of concepts and testing Is required
Solid understanding of the role and value of software QA/Testing
Broad interest in test execution and practices
Non-Functional test experience encompassing performance, automation, Disaster Recovery, vulnerability, security, fault-tolerance.
An understanding of Unix and Windows host operating systems, networking and related logistics.
Experience with Compliance and Regulatory constraints required.
Knowledge of Virtualised and cloud environments useful.
Familiarity with orchestration and workflows an advantage.
An understanding of DevOps and related technology is a significant advantage.
Flexibility to deliver in both Agile & Waterfall methodology
Experience working in a banking I.T. team preferred
Knowledge of Intra Day Liquidity, and Balance Sheet Management would be a definite advantage
Knowledge of bank statements, swift MT messages, Real time payments, XML messaging formats is a definite advantage.
Knowledge of reconciliations between ledgers and bank statements, real time reporting requirements
Knowledge of system design and development of web, backend, database, integration, machine learning, cloud, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
Experienced in delivering successful agile projects
Ability to conduct performance testing report analysis, in respective of CPU, Memory and JVM
Ability to use Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner and any other testing tool
Ability to use Java or Python to automate the whole end to end performance testing process
Ability to conduct code review to find the performance bottleneck
