As a Senior QA Analyst, you will work closely with designers, product managers and developers. You will join a group of passionate QA and technology professionals who believe that building good technology helps people get work done more efficiently. As a member of the QA team, your responsibilities may include:
Gain a deep understanding of the Digital Adherence product and utilize this knowledge to develop test plans and think through edge cases
Serve as the main point of contact between Digital Adherence and the other members of the QA team
Regularly attend Digital Adherence meetings (including standups) and work closely with the development team
Support CommCare test execution when assigned
Work closely with the development team to plan and execute QA cycles
Design and update impactful test plans with thorough documentation artifacts
Conduct manual testing of complex software
Participate in the interview process for new QA or Tech team members
Contribute to setting the testing strategy by assessing technical documentation
Delegate routine tasks to contracted testers, if needed
Ability to work occasional late evenings to coordinate with engineers based in South Africa and the United Kingdom
Relevant Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
2 - 3 years of Software QA testing
Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-reporting tools
The ability to clearly communicate technical issues
Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes
Fluent in written and spoken English
Authorized to work in India
Bonus Skills
Product experience with mobile and/or web applications
Demonstrated expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short-release cycles
Knowledge of automation testing and tools, like Selenium IDE, or basic scripting abilities
Familiarity with basic SQL queries
