Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Automated Test Suites: Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement automated test suites using Cypress for web applications and Appium for mobile applications
Test Planning and Strategy: Contribute to the development of test plans and strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
Execution and Maintenance: Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects. Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to accommodate changes in software functionality
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment processes
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate the stability of software releases and ensure backward compatibility
Documentation: Document test cases, test scenarios, and test results. Contribute to the development of testing standards and best practices documentation
Identify & Record: Document thoroughly and track bugs including bug triage
Investigate the causes of software quality and reliability issues and work together with architects and developers to help address them in the long term
Design and monitor quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, open defect counts and test coverage
Build QA reports for visibility on health and quality of the products
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements:
Proven 3 years of work experience in Software Development
Proven 3 years of work experience in Software Quality Assurance
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience with Selenium or Cypress automated Web UI testing
Experience with integrated project management, build, release and documentation tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, TeamCity)
Experience with automated API testing
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript for Cypress and Java or Python for Appium
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is an asset (e.g., JMeter)
Experience in a DevOps environment is an asset
