We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the automation testing efforts and ensuring the quality of our software products. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts, executing test cases, and identifying defects. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior automation test engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop automated test scripts using scripting languages such as Java, Python, Javascripts
Execute automated test cases and identify defects in software products
Lead the automation testing efforts and mentor junior automation test engineers
Execute API test cases with tools like Postman
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
Participate in the development of test plans and test cases
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvementsContribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and toolsEvaluate and recommend automated testing tools and frameworks
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and libraries
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the testing team
Qualifications:
Should be passout from BE (IT,Computer), BCA, MCA, MSC IT
4+ years of experience in automation testing
Strong programming skills in scripting languages such as Java, Javascript, Python
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium (With Java)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Nice to have:
Good to have experience in cypress/playwright tool
Good to have experience in Appium or Any other mobile automation tool
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
