Responsibilities:
Scope of this engagement is to create test cases and execute all testing and document all test results with artifacts for the enhancements and bug fixes, of which samples are listed below. The resource will be expected to consistently produce high quality results that meet business needs, while assuring the analysis, design, and development are based upon requirements and desired functionality defined by the business and produces quality results that meet business objectives and timelines.
Essential Job Functions:
• Verify & Validate process in terms of activities (testing, code inspection, etc.), methods, tools, etc.
• Develop, maintain, and implement System/UAT testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases based on CMMI standards.
• Create test estimation templates, if required
• Identify test cases and those that can be automation.
• Create and maintain a business requirement to test result mapping.
• Develop scripts for each of the test cases for automation.
• Train IFC staff or contractors to use Test automation suites/ products, such as Mercury, QTP etc., if required
• Document Standards and Guidelines for scripting
• Install guide and User manual for the test automation scripts.
• Provide leadership and best practices experience for definition and implementation for the process area.
• Report to IFC project lead
• Provide guidance and support to Project Manager for implementing the defined process.
• Provide necessary training to team members.
• Reconcile data between source and target systems as part of data migration testing and production cut over.
• Communicate with Business/Systems Analysts and Developers to understand/clarify requirements.
• Participate in QA reviews and audits of project activities and work products to ensure compliance with documented plans, procedures, and standards.
• Provide technical information for Change Requests meetings.
• Participate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings.
• Participate in production support and troubleshooting.
• Participate in collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities for measurement and analysis.
• Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system.
• Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager
• Provide testing status reports per Project requirements and provide input to the Project Plans and Processes
• Identify and communicate risks to Project team.
Skills
Must have
• 7+ years of experience in QA validation for information systems.
• Resource is accountable, has substantial responsibility and autonomy. Successfully manages large and/or complex projects, processes, or services that have impact across multiple areas, such as across multiple functions, processes, services, etc. May manage resources necessary to complete the project. Provides direction to team members in their area of expertise. Contributes with subject matter expertise and serves as a technical resource.
• Resource strengthens solutions, ensures application and awareness of practices, provides advice and guidance to teams, contributes with knowledge, mentors experienced staff to deepen their professional knowledge. Resource is known for their subject area and is sought out by team members to advise, peer review, or contribute to knowledge products of others.
Nice to have
• Hands on experience with any CE applications listed at the end of this SOW would be plus.
