Defining and execution of Test Plans for covering Security testing
Monitoring and Tracking Test Plan/Automation Projects
Reviewing the Projects and ensuring the impact of changes in the scope on test plans, changes in the priority, test schedule and test automation are well handled
Defining and Implementing Test Automation Projects
Ensuring Build Acceptance Tests are executed and Customer acceptance is achieved within the given timeframe
Defining and improving QA Processes/ Best Practices
Creating/Tracking Test Metrics, Project Metrics and ensuring corrective actions are taken to keep good health of the deliveries
Security Testing:
Conduct thorough security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans on software applications, systems, and networks.
Perform code reviews and analyze software architectures to identify security issues and risks.
Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain automated security testing scripts and tools.
Security Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with industry security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Ensure that software products comply with security standards and regulations (e.g., OWASP, PCI DSS, GDPR).
Collaboration:
Collaborate with software engineers, developers, and product managers to integrate security best practices into the development process.
Provide guidance and support to development teams regarding secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive security assessment reports, documenting identified vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and recommended solutions.
Communicate findings and remediation recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Training and Awareness:
Conduct security awareness training sessions for development teams to enhance their understanding of security principles and best practices.
Mentor junior team members and foster a security-conscious culture within the organization.
Skills: Essential Skills
Should have 4+ years of experience across automation tools
Hands on in Security Testing
Strong Experience in API / Web Services Testing and API Automation tools
Sound knowledge of SDLC phases and Testing Life cycle
Strong Requirements and Business Analysis skills with good focus on attention for details
Strong Agile Software Project Management
Test Management Tools: Jira, TFS
Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Protractor, Test Architect
Knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools Jenkins , Git Actions
Strong Ability to define and execute Test Suites/Test Cases
Strong Strategic thinking and planning skills
