Responsibilities:
Develop and integrate test automation utilities
Design and implement overall automated testing software infrastructure, that supports modular test management and execution using Selenium, Python and BDD tool like Gauge or cucumber
Develop framework related functions using Python (Preferable) and Java
Work with multiple application teams to develop, maintain and assist with test scripts and test suites and coverage
Participate and conduct peer reviews of automated test scripts
Work autonomously, and solve complex challenges, applying mastery and demonstrating expertise in their particular domain
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
7+ years of software automation testing experience
Work experience required in either Python or Java programming languages with ability to design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test suites
Ability to define, design and create automation test suites to ensure maximum test coverage
Good knowledge on automation testing frameworks like Selenium/Cucumber/Gauge
Strong understanding of automation frameworks and concepts
Experience in leveraging and using tools like JIRA, BitBucket, Artifactory, Confluence, etc.,
Experience in agile software development practices and DevOps
Open and quick to learn new technologies and tools
Ability to understand the domain to become a subject matter expert
