Responsibilities:
QA Automation engineer will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solutions, designing automation frameworks and implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product
Design and create test conditions, test data to address business and technical use cases
Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Robot Selenium or Cypress
Design, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results for Web applications
Supports automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.
Create a standard framework for Functional Automation. Presents technical documentation for review by peers and the Development community.
To work individually or with the QA team for resolution of technical issues of the product as needed.
Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability
Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years of hands-on experience test automation experience.
Good knowledge of OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Java, .NET, C#, Python, Javascript, Typescript
Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
Expert in automation frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, MSTest, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework
UI and API level test automation expertise
Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP.
Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks Agile methodologies.
Experience in CI/CD integration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing and enhancing automation testing frameworks.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
Good to have experience on Test Management tool like - Azure DevOps or JIRA
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning is a definite plus.
Passion for achieving excellence in technical, process, product quality and reliability.
Must be highly detail and technology-oriented and possess excellent communications skills.
