What will you be responsible for?
The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for validating the data accuracy and perform data analysis to improve the quality of data. The Analyst works with, Product Owners, data engineers & reporting teams to identify and document the quality rules, requirements, and lineage of data.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Data Quality Assurance
Identify Data Quality bugs & defects and escalate issues to the remediation team.
Track and monitor data quality indicators via data quality reports and dashboards in compliance with data quality framework.
Responsible for inspecting data and should be able to address the issues related to data completeness and quality.
Perform root cause analysis on prioritized data quality issues to determine appropriate fix forward and fix backward actions or remediation plans.
Work with key stakeholders to align expected turnaround times for remediation, gain approval for suggested remediation actions, and coordinate the appropriate action with the teams that are responsible for executing those actions and monitor remediation actions until closure.
Work closely with Product managers and should be able to estimate QA tasks and deliverables.
Performing data quality checks to meet the needs of all internal business partners leveraging various data sources.
Responsible to validate the data in the BI dashboards by comparing with data source such as EPIC, Salesforce
Review and understand business requirements (user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria, process flows,)
Responsible for documenting all the findings and should be able to write the Test cases.
Experience in Identifying and retest data bugs.
Experience developing test strategy for functional testing.
Experience developing and executing test plans.
Experience processing test results, compiling/analyzing statistical data, reporting defects/bugs.
Develop test plans, create tests scripts, and provide test management for highly visible and critical products.
What would your day look like?
Knowledge of information access and delivery methods, analytics applications and tool portfolio, data sourcing and integration methods. Understanding of data warehouse, ETL, data cleansing, and architecture.
Ability to write SQL queries independently.
Experience with BI tools like Tableau, QlikView and power BI
Experience with cloud-based tools such as Snowflake
Experience with Big Data and salesforce
Experience with QA Automation
Strong critical thinking ability and problem resolution skills.
Ability to work independently with light to moderate supervision in various areas of responsibility.
Advanced understanding of software testing methods and knowledge of software development life cycle.
Experience automating functional test scripts.
Experience creating and maintaining automated tests scripts.
Ability to functions independently and manage a variety of products.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, mathematics, or Information Systems
4+ years of relevant experience in the software testing field
Ability to perform root cause analysis by querying databases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
SQL, Snowflake and Business Intelligence dashboard UI skills
Good Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Minimum 3 years of experience with data quality testing.
Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis and reporting.
Minimum 3 years of experience with writing SQL statements.
Proficient with EPIC applications
Preferred:
Experience with Health Care Quality Assurance and Health Care Data
