Role and Responsibilities:
Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
Write, document, and maintain automated testing solutions and other test artifacts (test data, data validation, harness scripts, automated scripts)
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases; report test results
Facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members; Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues as needed
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
Partner closely with development, project management, and customer support teams
Preferred Qualifications
BE/B.Tech/MCA
5+ years of hands-on QA automation testing experience in a web and/or mobile environment, while adhering to Agile methodologies
Experience writing clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases (JIRA experience is a plus)
Proven ability to research, document, and present solutions; implement testing framework from start to finish
Proficient in Load/Performance testing with JMeter
Proficient in writing automated test scripts for functional testing using Selenium (JavaScript preferred)
Experience maintaining test automation frameworks and tools
Proficient in utilizing Page Objects
Experience using source control
Experience with Jenkins, Continual Integration, or Appium a plus
