Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Sr QA Engineer.
This position for Mainframe testing and web testing.
This would include working with product owners and SMEs to ensure the software is tested as per the business requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
We are looking for experienced and ambitious Sr QA Engineer for our teams who will be responsible for below tasks.
Should be able to understand technical and functional requirements.
At least 4.5+ years of strong experience on Manual testing (Mainframe testing and Web testing) Manual Testing, UI Testing
Follow testing standards.
Test Plan review process to be followed and quality of the deliverables needs to be met.
Should be able to scale up and learn new functions in the team.
Communicate/Collaborate onshore/offshore team members with respect deliverables.
Should be able articulate regarding his/her work/project.
Should be capable to take responsibility as POC of a team and mentor other associates.
Soft skills to gel with the team and involve in team building activities.
Participate in all team activities.
Attend and report/discuss regarding daily work/impediments in daily SCRUM calls.
Flexible to extend work hours as per project demand.
Strong communication skill is preferred.
Multi Directional, has ability to execute multiple tasks and has an analytical mindset.
Ability to work well under pressure and understands and prioritizes timely delivery of work.
Write testing documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in technical education
EXPERIENCE
Having at least 4.5+ years of experience on Manual testing
Work experience in healthcare domain is a plus.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
At least 4.5+ years of strong experience on Manual testing (Mainframe testing and Web testing) Manual Testing, UI Testing, API Testing and Functional Testing Database Testing. Experience in test case design for end-to-end testing. Experience in testing web applications. Good understanding of QA process and software testing lifecycle including agile methodologies. Good to have on healthcare background.
