Designing and developing software products for automated testing of software applications on mobile devices and backend systems
Analysis of test scenarios and develop strategies for automation of this scenarios
Create test automation guidelines for training purposes and documentation of test automation approaches.
Researching issues in software through testing
Assist in establishing an automated testing strategy
Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop and enhance existing automation tools/solutions.
Contributes to the managing and maintenance of the code base and CI/CD strategies.
Adapt test automation frameworks to increase automated test coverage.
Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
Maintaining coding guidelines and train the less experienced engineers on development best practices
Collaborates with SDE to build software that maximizes test automation and distributes integration responsibilities throughout the development cycle.
Participate in operational readiness tasks: Pilot projects, internal validation support, experimental development, Kaizen
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:
Experience with software testing tools, like Selenium, Appium, Katalon, etc.
Experience with analysis of manual testing scenarios and converting them to automation scripts.
Proficiency in Programming Languages Python, Java, JavaScript
Understanding of the latest trends, standards, and developments around test automation
Experience with version control like GIT, TFS etc.
Expertise with Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration.
Understanding of OOPS concepts and Design Patterns
Fluent in oral & written English, be able to fluently communicate with colleagues in different countries.
Enthusiasm and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences, or a related degree, or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development
Able to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with short timelines
Desirable Skills and Experience:
ISTQB preferred.
Experience developing software for clinical trials or the pharmaceutical industry
Java, Python, JavaScript, Android
Preferred experience in JavaScript ES6, asynchronous calls, CSS, XML, JSON
Web/mobile application development experience
Experience in IDE, Repository, Issue tracking systems (Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitLab, TFS, JIRA.
Experience in SW development methodologies; Agile SCRUM, Waterfall, Kanban
