Job Responsibilities:
Test various features as well as back-end REST APIs on the web-based software platform
Hands on Experience on Mobile Application end to end, functional, & UI Testing on Android and iOS platform for hybrid and native applications
Good understanding of Mobile Testing concepts like Network testing, Performance testing, Usability testing, Compatibility testing, Deployment & Distribution testing etc.
Responsible to create detailed test cases per module per project and testing them either by manual or automation testing(Automation is optional)
Review functional and technical specifications and participate early in the SDLC to inform your test strategy
Engage in strong peer leadership and mentoring less experienced QA engineers as the team grows
Develop end-to-end tests, stress tests, and manual tests for the web-based platform application and REST APIs
Work actively in helping the broader development team establish best practices according to modern methodologies
Leverage your extensive experience in designing, documenting, and executing test plans
Recognize and call out potential improvements for the UI/UX
Identify gaps in test coverage and processes, and propose plans to close the gaps
Apply your expertise to help streamline the QA process and foster efficient collaboration between developers and QA
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent)
Should have 3-5 years of relevant experience as a QA engineer in a senior role.
Hands-on experience with Jira
Knowledge of test management tools (i.e., Xray, TestRail)
Competency in working with SQL (even better if it’s MySQL or Snowflake)
Some hands-on experience with a scripting language (i.e., JavaScript, Python)
