- Work with engineering teams and QA engineers to improve and automate testing strategies and software configurations.
- Design, drive, and create new automated integration and end-to-end tests with front-end (Selenium, etc).
- Collaborate with our global QA organization in test development, documentation, and automation.
- Coordinate with product development engineers to design all test plans and analyze all functional and non-functional requirements for all automation test frameworks and provide training to staff if required.
- Implement test cases, evaluate results, prepare test data, and design functional tests in the required framework.
- Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test data when required.
- Occasional off-hour availability for production testing on release nights.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum activities, Sprint Planning, Standups, etc.
- Participate in code reviews and product demos.
- Work with local and remote teams in collaborative capacities.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in QA
- Strong knowledge and understanding of desktop and web application testing.
- Good experience in automation using Selenium, Java/Python, and TestNG frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP stack.
- Having good experience in WebRTC, SIP, and Real-time communication.
- Requirements analytical processing, knowledge of requirements management.
- Strong knowledge of test planning techniques and approaches, good skills of usage the test design tools.
- Strong analytic and decision-making skills.
- Excellent in test execution
- Strong knowledge and understanding of features and differences of modern and main development processes/cycles, ability to demonstrate work in certain development models.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
- Strong knowledge of testing processes and excellent in defect tracking.
- Practical knowledge of any widespread bug tracking system usage (e.g. Jira), knowledge and understanding of such systems' main features.
- Basic in source-control systems (e.g. Git) usage.
- Practical skills of test management tools usage.
- Ability to work with people as a mentor.
- Skills in systematization, structuring of information and transfer of knowledge.
- English at least Upper Intermediate level Creativity, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Must be a “team player” and able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes.
