We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Manual QA Engineer to lead our web application testing efforts. As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex and high-impact web platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Manual QA Engineers in planning and executing testing activities.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for challenging web-based projects.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing expert insights on testing approaches and quality assurance best practices.
Conduct risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Perform root cause analysis of critical defects and work with the development team to implement solutions.
Participate in architectural and design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues.
Skills & Experience:
Min 3 years' of experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Manual QA Engineer with a strong emphasis on testing complex web applications.
In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, test plan development, and test case design.
Extensive experience in testing web applications across various browsers, devices, and platforms.
Expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive testing initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to the overall quality strategy.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Exposure to testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with automated testing principles and tools will be a plus.
