Analyze the requirements and identify the needs of test plan/cases/user scenarios based on the functionality and requirement.
Develop and execute test plans by reviewing requirements and design specifications.
Develops and executes test plans to perform all aspects of quality assurance, including functional, regression, and system testing
Develop and execute manual test suites for websites and web applications using with web services
Understands how to test for scalable and highly available web applications at all layers of the architecture
Test and verify the fixes of bugs and provide status reports and test results.
Test to ensure that developed applications, systems and customer experiences meet based on the business requirements and quality standards.
Identifies and communicates issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills.
Able to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes, work independently in a fast paced environment.
Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.
Understand automation frameworks.
Debug, fix and improve failed automated test cases.
Expericnce in E commerce application testing (preferable Hybris)
Experience Requirement
Skills – (Primary Skills)
4+ years of outstanding track record as a QA (Test) engineer with CMS/Web Service Testing/eCommerce Testing/Migration testing/SEO testing/Analytics/Performance testing.
3+ years experience in Automation Testing( Desirable)
Demonstrated skill with web application testing procedures, techniques, and tools, including test planning and case writing
Experience on Manual testing of web applications(including compatibility and responsive design Testing).
Experience on Web content management Testing.
Good knowledge of QA methodologies, procedures documentation
Good writing skill for technical documents.
Collaborative development in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with innovative thinking in resolving both technical and business problems.
Desirable Qualities (Additional)
Experience in security, load and performance testing of web applications.
Knowledge & Hands-on experience with a variety of automation testing tools – Selenium & JMeter is must. Desirable QTP, Load Runner, Silk Performer, etc.
Good to have QA programming knowledge to automate test cases.
Experience on Automation Testing of Web Based Applications.
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication.
Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
Experience in managing and working with distributed team members
