Involved in all Agile ceremonies to collaborate with the team to understand features, and to work on the assigned user stories
Creation and execution of manual test scenarios to cover all possible combinations of UI and backend use cases of the application
Preparing test data based on the demand of scenarios required to fully validate delivered functionality
Understanding existing automation framework and modifying or adding test scripts based on the identified regression cases
Performing exploratory testing
Implement necessary test processes on projects, write test plans, procedures, and scripts, and analyze test results.
Work closely with the team to ensure issues/defects are dealt with in a timely manner.
Work within an agile team and collaborate with the team to ensure quality software.
Perform web service testing utilizing manual and automated methods.
Create scripts to compare and validate data results from testing.
Work with the team to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of automated tests.
Maintain well organized records of test results and generate reports from the automated test runs.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium)
What You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience Manual and Automation Testing with experience in one or more of the following technologies: Ab Initio, Unix, Java, Python, GIT, AWS
Experience implementing Selenium test automation.
Experience using Cucumber, BDD is preferred.
3+ years of experience working as part of an agile team
Collaboration skills to gather input and then experiment with available solutions to validate assumptions and feasibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information within a public setting.
A team oriented mindset with a can do attitude.
Ability to work with minimal direction.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Understanding of quality testing techniques.
Strong use test management systems.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
Able to perform test execution on all types of tests; analyzes defects and failed test cases and able to determine root cause and manage the defects to closure
Demonstrated success in delivering on-time with quality.
Strong knowledge of technology and product trends, especially what is happening in open source, DevOps, and AWS.
