Responsibilities:
Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Work closely with the Product owners and write User Stories and acceptance criteria for the given product feature
Execute tests on software usability.
Build manual test pack to start with and then automate the test cases over the course of the product development.
Analyse test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team and developers.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Ensure that new software products are ready for consumer use.
Work with development teams to prevent issues with new products.
Test the frontend and backend of the application.
Experience and Key Skills
Minimum 7-8 years of relevant software testing experience.
Excellent English communication and time management skills is essential for the position;
At least 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience on Cypress and Selenium WebDriver using C#
Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
Expert in Agile Project Methodology using Azure DevOps board for bug management applied to product development.
Well versed with Testing/QA concepts Familiarity with setting up of test environments for V&V activities
Strong analytical skills to be able to translate from system requirements and user stories to detailed test cases
Understanding of cross-browser development using core web development tools and technologies e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, Browser Stack.
Hands-on knowledge of testing C#, .net core, MVC, Typescript, HTML and XML technology-based applications
Working knowledge of SQL and MS-SQL databases along with ability to write database queries to validate the data in the database.
Strong collaboration skills and experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with different teams.
