Job Description

The Senior QA Payments - Card Management System professional is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance efforts related to card payment systems.

This role involves comprehensive testing, evaluation, and ensuring the functionality, security, and compliance of card management systems, ensuring seamless and secure card-based payment services.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ yrs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. QUALITY ASSURANCE:

1. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and methodologies for card management systems, with a focus on system reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.

2. Familiar with payment schemes such as VISA, MasterCard and Rupay.

3. Knowledge of Issues Host/ BEPG/ White Plastic certification process.

4. Experience of API testing using Postman/JMeter

5. Understanding of the Agile testing Methodology.

B. SHOULD BE ABLE TO EVALUATE THE FOLLOWING ASPECTS DURING QA:

1. Security Assessment

2. User Experience (UX) Evaluation

3. Interoperability Testing

4. Regulatory Audits

5. Performance Testing

C. COMPLIANCE: Stay up-to-date with financial industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, EMVCo) and ensure that card management systems adhere to these requirements.

D. TESTING AND VALIDATION: Plan, execute, and oversee extensive testing procedures, including functional testing, security testing, and performance testing, to validate system performance.

5. DOCUMENTATION: Maintain detailed records of testing results, quality assurance activities, and compliance reports, ensuring that documentation is well-organized and accessible.

6. DEFECT MANAGEMENT: Identify and report system defects, track their resolution, and collaborate with development teams to address issues promptly. Exposure to defect tracking using JIRA

7. ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS: Investigate and address any discrepancies found during testing or quality assurance processes and work on identifying and resolving root causes.

8. COLLABORATION: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and other QA professionals, to ensure the highest level of quality and security in AFCS systems.

9. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices that enhance the quality, reliability, and security of automated fare collection systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree. ( B.E, MCA )

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on payment systems, card management systems.

• Experience on tools such as JIRA, JMeter, Postman, Putty, MySQL/PGAdmin, Android Studio, Appium.

• Should be able to analyze system logs and understand the application architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Certifications in quality assurance or relevant financial industry certifications are advantageous.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Resource should be Open to travel- Domestic / International.

• This is not a work from home position.
