Position: Python Robot Automation Engineer
Experience: 6+ years
Responsibilities:
1. Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
- Implement automation frameworks to support testing of web applications, APIs, and other software components.
2. Manual Testing:
- Perform manual testing as needed, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manual testing requirements.
3. Team Mentoring:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the automation and testing skills of the team.
4. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle.
5. Test Planning:
- Contribute to test planning activities, including the identification of test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation and testing.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Python and Robot Framework.
- Previous experience in manual testing.
3. Skills:
- Proficient in Python programming language.
- Strong experience with Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks.
- Good understanding of performance testing concepts and tools.
4. Leadership:
- Experience mentoring and leading teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in automation testing (optional).
