Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
3-5 years of professional experience working with software applications. Executing functional tests, regression tests, performance tests, security tests, certification tests and compatibility tests
Experience with testing backend, frontend and 3rd party APIs
Experience testing on mobile devices, connected TVs, Set Top Boxes, Game Consoles, Android tv, Roku
Excellent analytical thinking skills, problem-solving skills and love for technical challenges
Experience in Video and media-based development projects is a plus
Basic programming skills preferably python, Java, JavaScript.
Knowledge of test automation - Have used test automation on projects, executed test scripts, maintenance of already built test scripts
Experience in Versioning control tools such as: Github, Bitbucket, Azure devops and similar tools
Good command of the English language
Excellent team player and have worked with cross functional teams

Plan and execute regression testing, functional testing, performance testing, integration testing, and other non-functional testing to ensure the successful deployment of applications.
Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to deliver products of exceptional quality, aligned with business objectives, on various platforms including mobile, web, smart TV, and game consoles.
Collaborate within a cross-functional delivery team to actively discuss and address all aspects of quality during the delivery process and also understand user stories, acceptance criteria and project requirements.
Engage with clients to communicate quality issues and establish a collaborative relationship surrounding QA for the respective project.
Update and maintain best QA procedures and standards, encompassing test planning, test data preparation, and test automation.
Define and analyze performance objectives, measure against data QA compliance metrics, and ensure targets are met.
Lead quality initiatives on projects, managing multiple platforms, interacting with customers daily, and closely collaborating with developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Product Owners.
Define the test strategy, automation strategy, and develop test scripts for UI and API automation.
Provide input to the QA Manager/Team Lead for all QA-related activities and dependencies.
