Role Overview:
Own and improve the testing strategy of a multi-tenant cloud-based application and help lead the transition into an Eptura event-based platform.
Quality over quantity is your personal motto.
You are not afraid of working in a self-steering role.
Drive and improve product and code quality from start to finish through solid testing principles, with an enhanced focus on test automation.
Define and implement test scenarios in the existing tooling and increase the maturity of the testing approach.
Have an affinity towards cloud deployment and actively participate in streamlining the existing CI/CD pipelines with (enhanced) automated testing.
Take an active part in the quality process & strategy and defect resolution (reproduction)
Coach your team member(s) around test automation and code quality
Take part in the rituals and habits of a software development squad in an Agile (scrum) context.
Ensure synchronization and clear up dependencies between other squads and teams (product, infra) in Eptura.
Foster documentation throughout the software development life cycle
Be part of a fast-paced team providing industry leading visitor management solutions to global enterprise customers
What will make you successful:
Bachelor Software Engineering or similar
You understand that quality expresses itself in many ways and you are convinced that (automated) testing is an essential part of software engineering.
You have a critical mindset, and you have affinity with engineering.
Scripting languages & automation tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Testrail, Selenium, Cypress...
Any knowledge regarding software development is considered a plus: React, NodeJS, C Sharp, …
A first experience in a modern software development environment and terms like domain driven design, microservices, cloud deployment, Kubernetes, Kafka, … are not strange to you
CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab/Azure/Github) : 2 years minimum
