Key Responsibilities:
Experience working cross functionally, with appropriate sensitivity to interdisciplinary and functional boundaries.
Knowledge of Selenium and ability to configure the same
Experience in automation of various projects along with designing and development of Automation Scripts
Must collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers to develop solutions
Familiarity researching root causes, particularly around customer facing incidents.
Implement and execute testing of assigned product areas.
Communicate project and team status to stakeholders.
Understand and implement, at a team level, guidelines and proficiencies developed by the Practice Areas.
Work with Project, Product, and Engineering Managers, Systems and Application support groups, etc. to size and schedule projects requiring testing.
Work with Software Quality Managers to plan and allocate resources as driven by the Product roadmaps.
Track defect trends and create meaningful metrics.
Track and monitor fixes and problems reported.
Analyse and ensure requirements/User Story acceptance criteria are acceptable for test case creation. Implement testing for projects, define test objectives, write scripts.
Helps to identify issues and implements solutions with other projects teams.
Experience working with other teams for planning and executing integration testing.
Familiarity with QA processes, documentation, agile development methodology
About You
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, computer science, or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Automation.
Experience organizing, implementing, refining, and executing testing processes using some of the following: Automation frameworks/tools (Selenium WebDriver/Appium / pytest / BDD (Gherkin / Specflow), continuous Integration systems (Jenkins), languages (Java, JSON, python, C#) and Data-driven/keyword-driven/hybrid frameworks, batch execution; Build execution by Maven ,Gradle; Rest APIs, JSON and Curl, API services; Test Estimation, Test Planning, Release Planning, Test Design, Test Data Preparation, Test Execution, Test Status Reporting, testing applications using SOAP and REST; Performance testing using Jmeter, Performance Monitoring (New Relic); Framework Design/Development, Selenium WebDriver, and tracking test progress and results in Jira, Bugzilla , SOAP UI, PostMan
Experience in estimating testing efforts and evaluating/understanding business requirements to come up with robust testing framework for the product.
Knowledge of continuous integration and dev-ops for integration with the test suite.
Passionate about learning new tools/technologies/methodologies and effectively implement these to improve the quality of the product.
A curious quality engineer with attention to detail. Desire for constant improvement in the quality of the products and revealing difficult scenarios.
A passionate team player with the ability to build a positive working relationship with the development team, product owner and business partners.
