Essential Functions:
Works with Agile team in identifying scenarios and workflows to best represent client usage of the application
Assist in requirements and design reviews for functional accuracy
Develop, execute, and document test plans to ensure the product we produce is accurate
Analyzes defects, performs root cause analysis, and collaborates with others to resolve issues
Responsible for design, build of BDD test automation framework using .Net and SpecFlow
Test Automation to cover end to end application components like APIs, User Interface and database testing.
Ensure to improve the test automation coverage to >90% so as to bring efficiencies and improved product quality.
Build BDD automation best practices.
Share knowledge and drive skill development across the teams.
Plan and implement test automation strategy for product developed by across scrum teams
Actively engage with quality engineers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (APIs, Web)
Participate as a technical automation team member or technical automation representative on cross functional team discussions
Performs and documents hardware/software modifications to existing systems to ensure that automation environment is up-to-date
Ensures that all automation designs and technical documentation adhere to standards
Execute, monitor results and create reports of automated suites within our CI infrastructure.
Utilize laid down automation best practices, patterns, and processes in your automation scripts
Assist with the creation of the overall automation strategy across multiple products.
Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance systems, procedures, business processes
Identifies testing risks and implements mitigations to build a quality product within the established delivery timeline
Recommends, schedules, and facilitates cross-department testing events to ensure application quality
Develop persona analyses for persona-based roles testing
Drives clarity and understanding of new features by actively considering and utilizing scenarios that are beyond acceptance criteria and team discussion

Skills needed to be successful
8 years of test automation experience automating end to end functionality of the application as a automation developer.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience using BDD Automation framework experience with .Net and Spec flow programming skills.
Should have used the BDD framework extensively and automated the testing of functionalities for 1-2 projects successfully.
Good .Net programming skill
API and GUI, web application, mobile application test automation experience
End to end functionality testing experience
Experience of building Automation using scripting like Powershell, unix etc.
Experience working in Agile team and ADO skills
Exposure to Unit Tests/Automated Unit Tests, preferably with Microsoft technologies.
Exposure to cloud and testing on cloud hosted solutions preferably Azure.
Ability to assimilate new product knowledge quickly and easily
Ability to accurately estimate task durations and complete work projects as scheduled
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Requirements
8 years of test automation experience automating end to end functionality of the application as a automation developer.

Thorough understanding of testing processes and good knowledge in test design techniques.
Good Knowledge and hands on API and Webservices testing
Performance and Security test concepts and tools knowledge will be an advantage
Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and SDLC is required
Good data analysis, defect reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Configuration Management and Bug tracking tools.
Exposure to Azure Cloud.
Optional:
Knowledge on one or more tools of the non-functional testing, like security, performance, compatibility and ignition.
Required Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
Overall 8 years’ experience in quality engineering with:
Experience in working on automation tools and technologies.
Experience on Performance, Security and other System Tests
Experience on coding with any programming language.
Experience with Unit Tests, preferably with Microsoft technologies.
Exposure to Azure cloud.
Experience with current Quality Assurance standard methodologies, and tool sets.
Preferred Experience & Education
Knowledge of FDA medical device regulatory practices a plus
Knowledge and/or experience with genetics, wet labs, or healthcare software a plus
