The Salesforce Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of Salesforce solutions developed by the organization. This includes creating and executing test plans, developing automated test scripts, and identifying and reporting defects. The Quality Engineer will work closely with other members of the development team, as well as with business stakeholders, to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans for Salesforce solutions.
Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Apex Test.
Identify and report defects in Salesforce solutions.
Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
Participate in design and code reviews to identify quality issues.
Ensure that all solutions adhere to best practices and standards for Salesforce development.
Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and developments.
Provide training and support to other team members on testing and quality assurance best practices.
Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and its capabilities.
Experience testing Salesforce platform is required.
Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium and Apex Test.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, are a plus.
