Architect, design, develop, and maintain key software automation components
Architect, design & develop continuous integration, deployment and operations concepts.
Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Propose and lead on initiatives to boost tooling and integration speed focusing on engineers productivity, release velocity and product quality
Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience and performance
Create, maintain and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members.
Continuous monitoring of product performance health metrics (response time, throughput etc.)
Work closely with multi-functional organisations, project teams and clients to develop test plans, execute test plans and cases, and deliver high quality products.
Own data and environment set up for QA / Staging environments
Self-motivated, able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete requirements.
Provide Project Managers with timely and accurate testing status and progress during all testing phases, including summarising Quality results at project conclusion.
Troubleshoot and investigate bugs by collaboratively working with UAT Users and Development teams and propose alternatives and build strategic plans towards reduction of bugs by 98%
Able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Agile method
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
6 + years of software engineering, quality assurance/engineering experience
Proficient in Groovy or similar scripting language
Languages/Frameworks Proficient : Java, JavaScript, Scripting, Good to have : Apex
Technologies/Tools: Jmeter / Gatling / K6, Github Actions, Selenium Web driver, GitHub and Appium
Proficient with JMeter, Web driver / Selenium, JavaScript knowledge
Experience evaluating and interpreting large volumes of production data using Splunk (or other equivalent tools) to evaluate throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
Experience in performance monitoring tools like Splunk, datadog etc
Experience in API testing and automation using REST assured or Postman.
Experience with developer tools like Github, Visual Studio Code and IntelliJ.
Experience in integrating automation framework with continuous integration tools like Github Actions, CircleCI or Jenkins.
Experience in Salesforce apps testing. Preferably Salesforce Admin certified
Experience in mobile testing - IOS/Android
A self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines and demonstrates problem-solving skills.
