We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, test automation, and a solid understanding of software development processes. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the highest level of quality for our products. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering reliable and efficient software systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop automation frameworks for testing web-based applications, APIs, and microservices.
Create and execute automated test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development teams.
Participate in the Agile development process, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and trends in the industry.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
4-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
Additional Skills:
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of security testing principles and practices.
