The QA Test Engineer professional who is driven and passionate about quality, testing, and automation, who can set a great foundation for manual and automated testing including test data management, test case/plan documentation, and organization.
You will be working daily as part of the engineering team. This position ensures high-quality product delivery through manual and automated testing. This role works closely with the Product Owner, Developers, and Services to understand both the functionality of the product and the usage by the end users. The QA Test Engineer professionals provide the expertise in testing and test coverage to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations. This role also works to educate and mentor junior members of the team on test frameworks, test strategy, and quality metrics.
Qualifications
Skills
Design, implement, and maintain a contemporary automated test suite framework to support an Agile (Scrum) process
Build manual and automated test suites (new and regression)
Run and monitor automated test executions
Defect management, validation, and reporting
Proactive, continuous process review and refinement
Experience
5+ years QA experience including manual and automation testing
Deep and demonstrable experience with automated testing tools
Experience in testing web and desktop applications
Experience in Agile Delivery and working in an Agile scrum-based environment
Experience with C#, Selenium
Experience with Test Suite and Test Case creation and management. (Jira-Xray preferred)
Experience with GIT
Experience with SQL Server
Nice to Haves
Experience in API Testing
Experience with Test Complete automation tool.
Experience with XML Technologies including XSLT, XPath, XQuery.
Experience in testing Web Services (REST / WSDL).
Experience in test automation for microservices-based applications
Experience in writing BDD scenarios.
Experience in writing technical documentation.
Experience with CI/CD build and release pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
