Whirlpool is looking for a passionate test engineer with a keen focus on Performance. The Performance Engineer will work closely with the development team, functional QA team and examine the user stories and architecture of the software with an eye for performance. Identifies bottlenecks when possible. Ensures there's adequate planning for redesign and rescaling as loads shift. The Performance Engineer will design, develop and execute automated performance, load and stress tests for Whirlpool Digital sites with the goal to identify and implement performance improvements. The Performancea Engineer will work closely with the Development team, POs and QA members to develop test strategies, plans and schedules, while adhering to defined quality metrics and requirements. This position requires an individual who is passionate about developing performance testing solutions tuned for high performance.
Your responsibilities will include
Senior Performance Test Engineer will perform the following activities:
Performance test script creation and execution
Support existing performance scenarios and infrastructure
Evaluate Stories and plan performance testing strategy
Performance test environment, framework and execution
Actively involved in doing the performance testing end-end process
Analyze performance results, creating performance reports
Create bug reports according to performance tests execution results, track fixes for these defects
Participate in project releases delivery to production (on demand)
KEY DELIVERABLES:
Performance Test Plan: Plan that will include business process steps, test scenarios & expected results.
Performance Test Scripts: Automated performance test scripts used to emulate end-user volume on the system under test (SUT)
Performance Test Reports: Summary of the testing activities executed for the project. It is the final record of the activity and results.
Minimum requirements
At least 3 years of experience in performance testing of WEB applications
At least 3 years of Jmeter tool experience
Good Knowledge of Dynatrace and experience of scripting with Jmeter
Proven experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Git.
Have deep understanding in testing types and processes.
