Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Qualifications
5+yrs of experience in Testing
Overall 5 to 7 years of experience
3- 5 years of Quality Engineering experience from tier 1 company.
Should have at least worked for 1 year in the financial domain
Strong knowledge of different test automation framework. At least 2 years of hands on experience in one of the frameworks.
2 years of hands on experience in test automation with Selenium Experience in web services (SOAP and REST) testing and automation including source code control and integration with test case management tools
Strong in testing concepts and test data preparation.
Should have at least 2 years of manual testing experience in web application and web services testing.
Should have worked for 1 year in an Agile development environment
Knowledge of ALM tools like JIRA, Zephyr
Should have good analytical and problem solving skills
Should have good oral and written communication skills
