Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer with expertise in quality assurance (QA) to lead and drive the testing and quality assurance efforts for our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, automation, and a proven track record of ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions and passionate about quality assurance and eager to lead and innovate in the QA space
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products
Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage aligns with these criteria
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Perform manual and automated testing of software applications, identifying and documenting defects, and tracking them to resolution
Contribute to the evaluation and selection of testing tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance the QA process
Analyze test results, provide meaningful insights, and drive quality improvements based on data-driven decisions
Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
6+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation and test strategy development
Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar
Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or other scripting languages for test automation
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products
Leadership abilities, with a proven track record of driving quality initiatives and mentoring team members
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus
