As Senior Software Engineer I, Quality Management, you will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the team. This may include developing test strategies, designing test plans, identifying bugs, and reviewing testing reports. You will be participating in functional, regression, performance, security, APIs, Automation and Database testing of software products. You will also develop, implement, and sustain test automation processes, frameworks, practices, and controls in support of faster time to market and quality within the software delivery lifecycle.
You Will:
Take part in the design phases of new software/product feature development and promotes continuous testing, and report potential quality issues, and ensure proper documentation of all executions and prepare detailed failure reports.
Be executing automated test cases, writing, fixing, and reviewing Automated Test Scripts for BVT, Acceptance and Regression Test Suites.
Be responsible for identification of test requirements from defined specifications, mapping test case requirements, and designing test coverage plans.
Ensure automated test scripts are always up to date and monitor their status during every run.
Be creating Test Plans and participate in performance (creating Performance Test Bed/Scripts), security, database, and APIs testing.
Be testing customer escalations and suggest design enhancements in products.
Be responsible for testing complex automated and manual deployments of cloud and on-premises products, and maintain Jenkins/Azure DevOps Test grids and scheduled jobs.
Qualifications
You Have:
6+ years of software industry experience and successful track record in product testing.
BE/ BTech/ MCA/ Equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
Worked on defect reporting and testcase management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, VSTS, Testlink etc.
Expertise in creating end to end Business use-cases.
Experience in writing complex DB queries and testing Stored Procedures and functions.
Experience in UI Automation, APIs Automation using experience of Selenium with C#/Java, NUnit/MSTest/Junit, and basic OOPs concepts.
Worked on Agile methodology for software testing and development.
Excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills and to understand the impact of technology on business challenges, processes, and efficiency.
Preferred Requirements:
Good knowledge of OOPs concepts.
Knowledge of any Scripting language such as JS, Python.
Performance testing using Puppeteer, JMeter, LoadRunner.
CI/CD using Azure/Jenkins.
API testing using Postman, SoapUI.
