Domain Experience on Investment Banking (Front office applications like Charles River, Aladdin, Simcorp Dimension)
Should be able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on application platforms
Should be able to design the Test Scenarios with minimal documentation
Needs to handle technical communications with Partners to understand client's systems or APIs.
Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team.
Work with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system.
Should also be able to set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
Able to write complex database queries
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science/Engineering
Typically has 8-12 years related experience.
Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on manual & Automated functional testing experience in Investment Banking domain.
Innovative Mindset and build Automated Solutions for the Enterprise in Investment Banking area
Must possess sound knowledge on Trade Processing / Fund Accounting/Pricing/ Reconciliation/Corporate Actions across different financial instruments.
Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines.
Innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements
Ability to influence change at difference levels of the organization
Desirable:
Master’s degree in Computer science/Engineering/Finance
Detailed practical experience of the use of HP Quality Centre/ALM.
Expertise in MS Office application particularly in Excel.
ISTQB or ISEB testing qualifications preferred
Knowledge of Agile & CICD Implementations
