Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Specifically, you will
Create tests to identify software problems
Analyse bugs and errors found during tests and communicate it to team via any bug tracking and management tool, e.g., Jira.
Document results of tests for the software development team
Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
Work together with the software developer to enhance to ensure consistent project execution
Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
Experience
Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer (Automation + Manual)
Java, TestNG, Selenium Webdriver
Knowledge of Jenkins and Git
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Solid teamwork & collaboration skills
Skills for Success
Expertise on Java and should be able to Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Webdriver with TestNG.
Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle phases.
Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Solid teamwork & collaboration skills.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (i.e. B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, MCA, M.Tech etc.).
