We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software QA Engineer to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of QA experience, with a proven track record in leading testing efforts on complex service projects. This role demands hands-on testing skills, a strategic mindset for QA methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies for complex projects to ensure product quality.
Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases based on client specifications and requirements.
Execute both manual and automated tests, analyze results, report and track defects, and follow through with issues until resolution.
Improve and advocate for QA best practices and processes within the team, including implementing advanced testing tools and methodologies.
Manage testing schedules and ensure adherence to timelines and delivery milestones.
Collaborate with software developers and project support teams to identify and resolve issues.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks to improve test efficiency and reliability.
Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and knowledge.
Ensure documentation of test results is thorough, understandable, and usable for all stakeholders.
Provide leadership in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to drive system enhancements and improve operational efficiency.
Remain up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and advocate for best practices in QA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on service-oriented projects.
Expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA)
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Experience in a client-facing role or services-oriented environment.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
