Design, develop and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality (functional, regression, end-to-end tests, etc.)
Report and manage defects in JIRA. Work with the developers to test fixes before closing issues and actively participate in Agile/Scrum activities
Provide escalation support for our customer support team
Mentor, provide leadership to junior QA engineers in execution, ability articulate and represent the work done to stakeholders.
Support developers in analyzing and reproducing customer issues
Opportunity to grow into a DevOps role
Analyze business and functional requirements together with development and product management (Three Amigos) to develop test strategies, test plans and test scenarios.
What you bring to the role
Must have experience (5+ years) in automating functional tests on a Networking product preferably Layer 3-Layer 7 functionalities.
Bachelor’s or masters degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of hands-on experience QA
Sound understanding of SDLC and Agile practices
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication and organization skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with an international team in multiple time zones
