Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
Ensure that all software is working as intended through rigorous, detailed testing. 
Be the first line of defense in discovering and identifying functionality issues in the game.
Accountable and accountable for QA sign offs to production.
Contribute to the development, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated test plans in partnership with the QA Lead
Cultivate and develop processes to maintain a healthy, positive relationship with internal and external QA personnel.
Proactively communicate concerns and risks to QA Administration
Championing finest practices for testing, testing processes, and testing tools to ensure that our teams are working as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Use familiarity with standard QA processes to review bugs, test cases, and create documentation. 
Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and features. 
Document, maintain, and track the status of all issues in the bug tracking tool until issues are resolved. 
Verify the accuracy of Live Game events, to ensure they match design and have proper functionality. 
Utilize debug, admin and external software tools to diagnose, reproduce and identify issues.
Reproduce issues, when necessary, in order to assist software development in resolving issues 
Generates status reports, documentation, and other low-level reports for supervisors and/or product development groups. 
Works with QA Management to implement new QA processes and improve existing ones.
Quickly switches priority, with little downtime.
Required Qualifications 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience 

Experience: 

• 5+ years of professional game software testing experience required. 

• Web/Mobile testing experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Experience within a highly collaborative environment working with various disciplines including engineering, design, and art.

• Results oriented, positive attitude and ability to work in fast-paced environment, deadline-oriented environment.

• Apprehends the urgency of a change and how it can affect the game.

• Ability to execute test scripts and accurately report status of feature and/or game through scripted and adhoc tests.

• Proficient awareness of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle 

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.

• Meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Efficiently regulate and prioritize tasks. 

• Strong technical knowledge of computers/mobile devices and ability to effectively troubleshoot computers/mobile devices. 

• Ability to juggle a variety of tasks, and work in ambiguity on complex problems.

• Ability to work with limited supervision.
