Job Description

4 to 10 years of experience in setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, API (Rest Assured or any) and Web.

Experience in Designing and implementing Test Automation frameworks with Selenium, TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Pytest, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or similar.

Should have strong hands on experience on scripting languages & tooling for various applications (Selenium, Karate Framework, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Pytest, Robot Framework, Cucumber, BDD, Jbehave, Core Java, Python, Javascript, Groovy).

Utilize version control systems like GitHub/Bitbucket/Teamcity etc. for code management and collaboration.

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.

Conduct API testing using tools like Rest Assured, SoapUI, Karate etc. to validate API endpoints and ensure proper functionality.

Employ test management tools such as Jira, qTest, ALM or similar to manage and track test cases, defects, and test execution results.

Implement continuous testing practices for automated build, test, and deployment processes using Jenkins, Cloud or similar toolsets.

Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using tools like Cucumber and Behave to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good knowledge of SQL queries.

Focus on continuous improvements and optimization through test automation executed in CI approach, utilizing methodologies/test techniques, deriving best practices.

Ability to retrospect the gaps in test framework & enhance to cover the needs of test coverage.

Utilize cloud technologies like GCP, AWS or similar platforms for pipeline purpose.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve software defects.

Working experience in Agile, Safe environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good experience in client facing role.
