Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications, covering functional, performance, usability, and regression testing.
Collaborate with software developers to identify and prioritize test cases based on requirements and user stories.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile application testing.
Conduct manual testing as needed to validate the functionality and user experience of mobile applications.
Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Continuously monitor and improve the quality assurance process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the QA team, sharing best practices and industry standards.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in mobile application testing and quality assurance.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (4+ years) in quality assurance for mobile applications, with a focus on iOS and Android platforms.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, or similar.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, or Python.
Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Tester, or similar are a plus.
