As a Senior QA Engineer in the product team, you will be the expert to come up with test strategies, test plans, troubleshooting techniques, and operational control of the QA of the software releases and automated tests as part of the CI/CD process. Most important, you should use the end-user view to test our products. So you need to work with Product Manager and UX very close, not only with engineering.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
To review product requirements, user experience specifications, technical design for testability;
To develop the test strategy, test plan, and test case (automatic and manual) for the specific project
To build and maintain requirements/test cases/test results traceability matrix
To execute automatic and manual testing, generate QA reports, and analyze problems;
To maintain integration automation test for continuous integration
To integrate software components from internal suppliers, then deploy speech software on the embedded target platform
To maintain target platform(s) with the latest baseline software and configuration updates
To collaborate with multiple teams on different sites
To support customers and partners on-site (travel is needed)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related.
Minimum years of work experience: 5+ years
Required skills:
Skilled in Python and Jenkins
Skilled in the implementation of Automation protocols, tools, and techniques;
Skilled in using Agile / Scrum-based product development methodologies;
Skilled in software requirement analysis;
Strong problem-analysis and solving skills, fast learner, self-motivated, willing to take the challenge;
Good English communication skills, teamwork spirit, and responsible for the delivery.
Preferred Skills and Qualities
Enjoying new gadgets and smart technologies.
Experience with Smartphone Apps or voice-based products is a plus.
Knowledge / Experience of C++ / Java / Web is a strong plus;
Knowledge / Experience of Voice Recognition / Machine Learning is a strong plus.
