Responsibilities:
Identify test requirements from multiple specifications and develop, document and maintain functional automated test cases to cover those requirements.
Develop and maintenance of test strategies, test plans, test cases and test results
Develop, enhance and maintain the automation test framework and test cases using in-house automation and 3rd party tools to improve test efficiency.
Analyze test results along with failure analysis and utilize facts / data driven metrics to continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure measurable improvement of product quality by identifying, developing and implementing innovative QA capabilities, strategies, and approaches
Execute manual and automated feature-level test cases and be able to isolate, replicate, and accurately report issues. Properly communicate test activities, estimates, tasks, and status
Qualifications
Number of Years of Work Experience 5-9 years on Quality Assurance in Agile/Scrum based product development
B.S or Diploma degree in computer science, engineering or related experience
Mandatory Skills:
Excellent QA skills - manual and automation testing - includes application, embedded SW/HW testing, API / Interface, Web UI, Mobile testing especially in Automotive domain – IVI / Infotainment System testing, Connected Car testing.
Ability to write automation code in Python or any other equivalent lang.
Should be flexible to adapt to programming langs.
Excellent team player.
Self-motivated, responsible, accountable and have the discipline to bring tasks into closure
Experience to solve issues on embedded operating systems like Linux, Andriod or QNX
Experience with Jenkins or CICD pipelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to lead project from start to end.
Ability to lead junior QA engineers. Guide, mentor and support them to bring best out of them.
Ability to solve hardware and real-time OS related issues
Previous experience with software development and quality engineering in the automotive industry
Good to have:
Exp and k/w of automation tools like Robot, any RPA etc.
