We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Lead to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, and a strong ability to identify and reproduce issues.
What’s the role
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
Develop and execute test strategy, test plans and test cases for applications.
Plan for manual and automated testing of applications Identify, isolate, and reproduce issues to ensure accurate reporting and resolution.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing strategies to ensure maximum test coverage and efficiency
Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are properly resolved and tested Provide timely and accurate feedback to cross-functional teams regarding issues and risks.
Excellent stakeholder management
Excellent communication and risk management
Create reports for stakeholders on the health of the applications.
What we need from you
9+ years' experience in manual and automated testing of applications.
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium and Python.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part and lead the test team
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps/Boards Jira or Trello is a must.
Manage a team of testers to deliver the testing work in different markets based on strategy defined.
Interact with multiple teams while understanding & analyzing complex business logic and potential test candidates as per test Strategy / plan.
Ability to design/ write complex test scenarios and test cases, ensuring maximum.
Test coverage and eliminating quality risks.
Execute test cases (System, Regression, Integration etc.)
Working closely with the BA for sign off.
Desirable or good to have experience.
Testing knowledge in Agile development model
Understanding of test plan, strategy, and implementation of the same.
Knowledge on relevant tools & technology based on which the project is executed.
Knowledge in Energy / Power/ Trading will be an advantage.
Through understanding of the Test Management Lifecycle and Defect Life cycle with hands on experience on tools Azure Dev Ops, JIRA.
Hands on experience on test automation tools like Selenium (.Net), Work soft & UFT. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate well across the entire organization.
