We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and C#/.Net. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This position requires a solid understanding of software testing principles, test automation frameworks, and database technologies.
Primary Skills:
·Proficiency in Selenium and C#/.Net for developing and executing automated test scripts.
·Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
·Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium and C#/.Net.
Secondary Skills:
·Familiarity with SpecFlow for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing.
·Knowledge of testing REST APIs and GraphQL.
·Understanding of web services and API testing tools.
Database Skills:
·Proficiency in Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, and other SQL databases.
·Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and verification.
·Experience in database testing, including data integrity, data validation, and performance testing.
Responsibilities:
·Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and C#/.Net to ensure the quality of our software products.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze test requirements and specifications.
·Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify and report defects and issues.
·Participate in test planning, test design, and test strategy discussions.
·Develop and maintain test data sets and test environments.
·Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using appropriate tools and techniques.
·Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
·Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and provide detailed reports to the development team.
·Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.
·Document test plans, test cases, and test scripts for future reference.
·Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
·3-6 years of experience in QA automation, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment.
·Strong programming skills in C#/.Net and experience with Selenium.
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
·Strong communication and collaboration skills.
