Responsibilities:
Should be able to Contribute towards building Client and Server-side performance scripts.
Should have experience in monitoring tools and provide bottlenecks.
Should have experience in performance testing for UI and API.
Execute test scenarios and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
Should be able to comprehend the automation frameworks and enhance for better results.
Identify, track, and report defects and issues found during testing.
Provides guidance to junior members on different approaches to improve the efficiency of scripts.
Effective Code reviews of Scripts/Code snippets.
Ability to comprehend the scenarios and build the effective performance coverage of any product/solution.
Actively provides feedback during technical/functional reviews.
Develops scripts for performance testing - datasets, test scenarios etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that software products are tested thoroughly and meet project goals.
Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in team activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Senior level role experience in software performance test automation.
Good experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Loadrunner or any other tools.
Experience in using the AWS and Azure environments is a plus.
Knowledge of Jenkins, Grafana etc is a plus.
Performance testing implementation in CI/CD environment.
Test Automation scripts development in selenium or Java, is a plus.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in using automated testing tools.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of programming languages and development tools.
Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills.
