As a Senior Software Testing Platform Engineer, you'll use your technical, teamwork and team leading skills, knowledge of testing and test automation, DevSecOps tools and methods to help deploy and improve testing tools for shared platforms. You will align and integrate well with testers, developers, engineers, analysts, scrum masters, delivery managers and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Analyze demand for testing and test automation tools for multiple stakeholders.
Work closely with others to recognize test automation needs and improvements.
Define, inform, and educate teams on best practices for test-driven development, automated testing methodologies and tools, development workflow improvements, continuous integration/deployment, and release management.
Prepare and deliver detailed hands-on demonstrations and training for test automation tools.
Write high-quality documentation describing guidelines, best practices, and useful tips & tricks.
Support users of test automation tools and provide them with set-up, configuration & administration services.
Help teams to integrate test automation tools with other related tools such as test management tools, issue management tools, version management tools, CI/CD tools and frameworks, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing on agile projects with a focus on test automation using Tosca and other related tools such as Jira, qTest, Vera, BrowserStack, OctoPerf, etc.
Experience with Tosca deployments, configuration & administration. Certification in this area would be highly appreciated.
Capable to prepare and deliver highly technical user training.
Interest in the newest testing and test automation trends and best practices.
Good in analyzing problems and developing solutions.
Excellent in both oral and written communication in English.
Team player with team leading skills and innovative thinking.
