As a Team Manager - Quality Assurance, you will Manage & Oversight multiple Projects and be responsible for Estimation, Scoping, Resourcing, Test Strategy Development, Reporting, Risk Management as well as managing all other stakeholders on a project. You are accountable for all testing activities through team & people manager responsibility towards your team.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of QA Analysts aligned to multiple projects.
Manage and oversee one or more Projects simultaneously.
Performing Scope Definition & Estimation, Test Strategy Development, Risk Management, Stakeholder Reporting & Management, Monitoring & controlling other QA activities.
Accountable for all testing activities including Requirement Analysis, Test-Planning, Member-Setup, Test Case Execution, Raising & Tracking Bugs & Testing Sign off
Liaise with PM, config, requirements & CAT/UAT Leads to ensure smooth & successful delivery on projects
Considered subject matter experts on QA Practices and Health & Welfare Domain
Responsible for smooth transition of new business/ process. Work in team or individually (as required) to assist in smooth integration/transition of processes
Participates with industry groups, stays current with technology and industry trends, disseminates knowledge to team members, forms best practices
Uses key performance indicators to monitor progress towards work group goals and drives for better results.
Manage implementation of process improvements initiatives.
Manage/Implement process SLA’s and adherence to defined workflow.
Removes barriers to team members delivering high quality client service.
Deepens the subject matter knowledge and skills of team members and helps them elevate their credibility with clients.
Recognizes and celebrates individual and team achievements.

Succeeding as a Senior Specialist – Quality Assurance, will require the following core qualifications and skills:
Bachelors/Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing
A minimum of 2 Years experience of managing a team.
SME level expertise on US/Canada HW Benefits Administration domain
Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Implementation process and process model
Experience in leading more than one end to end implementation starting from Requirement gathering
Ability to work on multiple competing priorities through their team
Ability to identify Requirement Gaps early in the project and focus on higher clarity on Client Plans
Contributing to QA best practices and process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices and work with team members.
Understands key performance indicators for their LOB/Region/Function and how their team’s work contributes to team success.
Expects and encourages team members to challenge the status quo, explore new technologies and offer ideas that can contribute to continuous improvement of work.
Provides team members with timely and constructive feedback and coaching to help them succeed in their roles.

Hands on experience on MS Excel
Strong business communication & negotiation skills.
Prior experience in Client facing CAT/UAT leading role will have added advantage.
Prior experience of working on Agile Methodology or related certification will have added advantage.
