Job Description

As a Senior Specialist - Quality Assurance, you will own projects and be responsible for Independently Analyzing, handling, and managing different phases of client implementation life cycle on an ongoing basis, and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

Work in a team or individually (as required) to assist in smooth integration/transition of processes.

Considered subject matter experts in their chosen field

Participates with industry groups, stays current with technology and industry trends, disseminates knowledge to team members, forms best practices

Strong understanding of development and test cycle, Agile concepts, and problem-solving skills.

Should have expertise in planning, managing; executing test plans for any application.

Execute all levels of testing (Smoke, Sanity, System, Integration, and Regression).

Suggest and Implement ideas of process improvements/automation.

Support process SLA’s and adherence to defined workflow.

Assist others in estimating task effort and dependencies, responsible for team commitments within projects.

Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code.

Coach & Mentor other team members.

Ensure effective peer review of tasks from peers.

Additional Job Description 

Succeeding as a Senior Specialist – Quality Assurance, will require the following core qualifications and skills:

Bachelors/Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field.

A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing.

Analytical, independent, inquisitive, detail oriented; Initiative driving.

Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Implementation process and process model.

SME level expertise on US/Canada HW Benefits Administration domain.

Strong Carriers (Files), Web, Communications Testing experience for US/Canada HW Benefits clients.

Sound knowledge of SQL.

Hands-on experience on MS Excel.

Effective business communication skills (oral and written).
